Terms of use

By using SigningAgentBrief you agree to these terms. They are short because the site is simple: we publish information, you read it, and the important decisions remain yours.

Information, not advice

Everything on this site is general career and business information about the notary signing agent occupation. It is not legal advice, financial advice, or tax advice, and reading it creates no professional relationship. Notary commissioning and loan-closing rules are set by each state and change without notice — before acting, verify requirements with your state's commissioning authority (each of our state guides links the official source).

Accuracy and its limits

We work hard on accuracy: income and fee figures are tied to a source registry, unverified figures are visibly flagged, and pages with pending verification carry a draft banner. Even so, we make no warranty that any content is current, complete, or error-free, and we are not liable for decisions made in reliance on it. Program terms (course prices, commission rates, state fees) belong to their owners and can change the day after we check them.

Affiliate links

Some links are affiliate links, governed by our affiliate disclosure. Purchases you make from a merchant are contracts between you and that merchant; we are not a party to them and cannot resolve their disputes.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the operator's state of residence. We may update these terms; the date below reflects the latest revision, and continued use after a change is acceptance of it.
