Privacy policy

SigningAgentBrief is a static website. There are no accounts, no comments, no advertising networks, and no tracking cookies. This page describes the three narrow ways data touches us at all.

1. The newsletter (only if you subscribe)

If you subscribe to The Signing Brief, your email address is stored by Buttondown, the newsletter service we use, and used for exactly one thing: sending the monthly issue. We see your address and when you subscribed; we do not see or collect anything else about you. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe, which deletes you from the list. To have your address removed manually, reply to any issue. Buttondown's own handling of the data is governed by its published privacy policy.

2. Aggregate, cookieless analytics

3. Server logs

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like effectively every host, Cloudflare processes standard request metadata (IP address, user agent) to serve and secure the site; we do not export or mine those logs.

What we never do

Children

This site is about a licensed professional occupation and is not directed at children under 13; we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the change will be noted in the next issue of the newsletter and the date below will be updated. Questions: reply to any issue of The Signing Brief.
